Greetings from your negligent blog writer! It's been so long since the last post, that it's now officially the next season! We're oh, so ready here for the change, that's for sure. Been busy, busy with all kinds of things. Knitting up some new socks for gifties: 
Pattern is free with the purchase of the sock yarn to knit `em ... takes two skeins of your "main" (foot color) and one skein of your contrast, and of course you'll have leftovers. Let me know if you'd like to see a shadecard, as it's not posted on the site, here. Finished, and have blocking as we speak, a sweater intended for Christmas. (Yup ... trying to be prepared. Just keep your fingers crossed the thing'll still fit by the time December finally rolls around again.) No photos right now, though. Also finished embroidering another tea towel; this one for a swap ... and just need to crochet or knit a couple of potholders to accompany it, and it can go out the door. And otherwise, trying to get and stay organized around here, and we just MIGHT (again, keep your fingers crossed) be THIS CLOSE to finalizing a deal on a house at long last. Yes, this means moving AGAIN, but hopefully for the last time for quite awhile!! If everything goes according to plan, we'll be in by mid-May, and I will be more than happy to unpack and quit living out of boxes. Happy Spring! |
